This is a story about Beauty. whose father was a wealthy merchant, who unfortunately faced difficult times and moved with his family to the country.
On his return journey from a trip, there was a storm and the father gets lost in the woods. Fortunately for him, he gets to stay at a grand palace. In the morning, before leaving, he plucks a rose for Beauty, when the Beast and threatened to kill him in exchange for the rose he has plucked.
But, finally Beast agreed to let him go if he handed over the daughter who had requested for the rose. Beauty, who loved her father very much, agreed to this bargain that her father had made.
After a while, Beauty finds out that her fatheris very sick and Beast agrees to let her visit him, but she must return in three months. Beauty’s sisters persuade her to stay longer.
Each day that Beauty overstayed, Beast was getting closer to death. When Beauty knows of his condition, she hurries to his side and promises to marry him if he will get well.
This broke the spell that had been cast on a handsome prince. Beauty and the Beast were married and lived happily.
The movie Beauty and the Beast was nominated for 6 Academy Awards which included Best Picture. This movie is a great Disney animated achievement.
